Instructions are given for first size. Figures in parenthesis refer to larger sizes. When only one figure is given, it applies to all sizes.

Materials:
300 (350, 400) g of Lana Grossa „Garzato Fleece“ (70% alpaca, 30% polyamide; 225 m/50 g) in Natural/ Beige (col 23). Size 3.5 and 5 mm needles.

Rib pattern:
K1, p1.

Knit/purl pattern:
Multiple of 7 + 2 + 4 selvage sts. Work according to chart. Numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, numbers at left edge of chart indicate WS rows. Beg with 2 sts before pat rep, work 7 sts between arrows for pat rep, end with 4 sts after pat rep. Repeat rows 1 – 6

2 selvage stitches:
At beg of RS rows, knit first st, slip next st as if to purl with yarn in back of work; at end of RS rows, work to last 2 sts, slip next st as if to purl with yarn in back of work, knit last st. At beg of WS rows, slip first st as if to purl with yarn in front of work, purl next st; at end of WS rows, work to last 2 sts, purl next st, slip last st as if to purl with yarn in front of work.

Gauge:
20.5 sts and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in knit/purl patt on size 5 mm needles.

Instructions:
Pullover is worked in one piece from side to side. With size 3.5 mm needles, cast on 97 sts for left sleeve. Working 2 selvage sts at beg and end of rows, work in rib pat for 1 cm, ending with a WS row. Work in knit/ purl patt according to chart for 4 cm. Change to size 5 mm needles and cont in knit/purl patt until work measures 35.5 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row. Cast on 63 (70, 77) sts at beg of next 2 rows for back and front side edge = 223 (237, 251) sts. Work increased sts into patt. Work even until work measures 50.5 (52.5, 54.5) cm from sleeve cast-on. Divide for back and front: Bind off center st. Leaving front sts on a holder, cont in patt across 111 (118, 125) back sts until work measures 71.5 (73.5, 75.5) cm from sleeve cast-on. Slide back sts to a holder. Rejoin yarn to front sts on holder, cont in patt and shape neck as foll: Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 4 RS rows, 1 st at beg of next 3 RS rows = 100 (107, 114) sts. Work even until work measures 67 (69, 71) cm from sleeve cast-on. Inc 1 st at beg of next RS row, then every foll RS row twice. Cast on 2 sts at beg of next 4 RS rows = 111 (118, 125) sts. Work even until work measures 71.5 (73.5, 75.5) cm from sleeve cast-on. Work in patt across front and back sts, casting on 1 st at center of joining row = 223 (237, 251) sts. Work even until work measures 86.5 (90.5, 94.5) cm from sleeve cast-on, ending with a WS row. Bind off 63 (70, 77) sts at beg of next 2 rows = 97 sts. Work even until work measures 117 (121, 125) cm from sleeve cast-on. Change to size 3.5 mm needles and cont in patt for 4 cm. Work in rib pat for 1 cm. Bind off all sts in rib.

Collar:
With size 5 mm needles, cast on 20 sts and work in knit/purl patt according to chart for 42 cm. Bind off.

Finishing:
Pin pieces to measurements and block. Sew cast-on and bound-off edge of collar tog. With seam at center back, sew collar to neck edge. Sew side and sleeve seams, sewing 1 st in from edge.
